11 FEBRUARY 2020

The 2020 season, in Maranello, opens, as usual, with the world presentation of the Italian fastest Red. This year the conference is scheduled on 11 February, at Scuderia Ferrari, where the 2020 single-seater - named 671 - will be celebrated by international journalists. This year the event comes earlier in order to allow technicians to continue their tests before the baptism on the track, which will take place on 18 February in Barcelona, Spain.

The interest about Ferrari cars is always very high, although the team principal Mattia Binotto and the managing director Louis Camilleri have already revealed some details: the colour will remain dull red (criticized in 2019), because of the lightness of the paint used. This season, the team will focus on optimizing aerodynamics and keeping the road ahead when cornering.

The technological evolutions will be the result, as for 2017 and 2018 cars, of the mind of the engineer Simone Resta, who worked on a completely new and always roaring engine. At the wheel of the single-seater Leclerc and Vettel are confirmed, although the contract of the German is expiring and the situation should be clarified before the Spanish GP. Lewis Hamilton, subject of rumours, will not be part of the Ferrari team, at least this year.
